Help us fill our Kosher Food Pantry and add a few of our items to your regular grocery list. The little gesture can help feed people right here in our own community. All non-perishable items that are donated need to have a heksher (a symbol which certifies a product as kosher).
We need: peanut butter; low-sugar jelly; canned tuna in water; wheat rice; wheat spaghetti; canned fruit in light or natural syrup/juices; canned vegetables (kidney beans, string beans, spinach, etc.); and spaghetti/pasta sauce (meatless). Also, gift cards to buy perishable items such as meat, chicken, fresh vegetables, fish and produce are also welcome.
The PJ Library® program supports families in their Jewish journey by sending Jewish-content books and music on a monthly basis to children from six months to six years. Created by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, and sponsored by our local Jewish Federation.
