Our Jewish Federation wouldn't be able to provide the programing and services we offer our community without our amazing volunteers. In appreciation, each year at our Annual Meeting, we present two recognition awards to valuable members of our community.
The Robert Simon Leadership Development Award is awarded to an individual who is selected by the board as being an up-and-coming leader in the Jewish community. Through their volunteering and contributions, this individual will have shown a commitment to the Jewish Federation and the larger Jewish community.
The Betty and Sam Schpok Spirit of Federation Award is presented as a life time recognition award. Given to a member of the community who has dedicated their time and energy to the Jewish community of St. Joseph Valley over the course of many years, in many ways. Nominees should be active in two or more Jewish organizations within the community. This award is selected by committee, and nominations are accepted from the community.
