The Hesburgh Library invites volunteers to participate in a special initiative of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. On January 25, 2019, the Library will host a “Sprint” (similar to a Wikipedia-a-thon), in which volunteers will devote one hour to reading microfilmed, hard-to-access Catholic newspapers to identify coverage from the 1930s relating to the Holocaust. A panel discussion and spotlight exhibit will follow the event. To learn more about volunteering as a citizen historian, please contact Marsha Stevenson at email@example.com or 574-631-7665.
