Led by a youth committee, and supervised by staff and volunteers, our BBYO-SaBaBaH chapter strives to provide engaging and meaningful programming year-round for our community’s teens.
In the last year our teens have:
- Traveled to two separate BBYO regional conferences, where they were able to connect to a large and diverse group of other Jewish teens their own age
- Held an Israeli food & dance event where teens prepared traditional Israeli dishes followed by an entertaining lesson on Israeli Dance
- Volunteered to beautify the Jewish Federation’s Holocaust memorial and surrounding area prior to attending our community’s Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Memorial) Program
- Hosted a lock-in at the Jewish Federation for our local teens as well as guests from the Indianapolis Jewish community
- Enjoyed dinner and attended a film as part of the Annual Michiana Jewish Film Festival
- Volunteered at the community Purim Carnival and took part in our Israeli Independence Day Program
- Enjoyed casual activities, including ice skating and putt putt golf

What is BBYO?
BBYO is a network of Jewish teens, alumni, parents, volunteers, and philanthropists, which provides opportunities for post Bar/Bat Mitzvah audiences to experience fun, meaningful, and affordable programming that inspires a lasting connection to the Jewish People. Established in the 1920s, BBYO was the first and most dynamically inclusive organization of its kind and has grown to be the world’s leading pluralistic Jewish youth movement.
